Gulf War The Persian Gulf War was held August 2,1990-February 28,1991.It is called Gulf War which was waged by a UN authorized coalition force from 34 nations.USA led the coalition against Iraq for continuation of the state of Kuwait.It is called the mother of all battles by Saddam Hussein.Its military name is Operation Desert Storm.It is also known as the 1st Gulf War,Gulf War1 or the Iraq War before the term became identified with the 2003 Iraq War.
